He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Bissell and Rosie Marjean Kellogg; his wife LayDell Bissell; his brothers, Donnie Roy Bissell and Ralph Steven Vandaveer; and his nephews, James Reynolds Jr. and Jeremy Wayne Reynolds.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Celia Ann Mitchell (Ciji) of Lake Murvaul; his daughters, Angela Lynn Legg (Brian) of Caldwell and Stephanie Renee Cook (Howard) of Spring; his siblings, Richard Thomas Bissell of Splendora, Carl Bissell (Sherri), Sheila Ann Bissell Wallace (Larry) of Tennessee, Mayme Kathleen Romas (Mike) of Porter, Nita Carol Zuber (Matt) of Alabama and Linda Gail Hodges (Sam); his grandchildren, Isaiah Bissell, Caitlin Cesarz, Joshua Legg, Gracie Legg, Tailynn Springer and Maria Legg; and his great grandchild Zaidah Bissell.
