We announce the death of Carla Bunt Wright of Longview, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 84. Carla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bunt and Loise Bunt; her husband Larry Wright; her siblings, Max Bunt, Ginger Henley and Deborah Johnston; her grandson Taylor Martin; and her nephew-in-law Stephen Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Darren Wright, Kyle (Renea) and Jeff (Kellye); her grandchildren, Darby, Lauren, Lexie (Scott), Spencer and Whitney; her great grandchildren, Tripp, Tucker, Hudson and John; her grandchildren, Trevor (Kendall), Bree (Alec) and Brock (Danielle); and her siblings-in-law, Rick Johnston, Carolyn Deakins, Loretta Barnes and Anna Bunt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home of Longview (1617 Judson Rd, Longview, TX 75601). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Center at Kelsey Cemetery (6392 Magnolia Rd, Gilmer, TX 75644). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Inside the Heritage Center at Kelsey Cemetery (6392 Magnolia Rd, Gilmer, TX 75644).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas in Sue's memory.
