She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Compton; her parents, Den Boyd and Maude Boyd; her sister Doris Ann Whitt; her children-in-law, Cathy Compton and John Dowden; her grandson Jason Compton; her children, Gary Compton (Mary) of Henderson, KY, Randy Compton of Hymera, IN and Terry Dowden of Longview, TX; her brothers, Jim Boyd (Sylvia) and Den Boyd; her grandchildren, Natalie Hollis, Jeff Shreve, Adam Hoskins, Kyle Compton (Sierra), JT Compton (Kimberly), Kim Compton, Addie Butts (Steve) and Lindsay Burkart (Brian); her grandmothers, Charlotte and Farlotte; Steve and Gloria Mallory. She was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild along with many special nieces and nephews.
