She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nicholas Brown, III and Edna Brown (Cole); her son Dr. James Everett "Jimmy" Elder, Jr.; and her sister Mary Jo Beard. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Elder of Dallas and Connie Johnson of Longview, Texas; her daughter-in-law Stacy Borchard of Greeley, Colorado; her grandsons, Trevor Johnson of Sulphur Springs, Tucker Johnson of Longview, Everett Elder (Conner) of Johnstown and Wilson Elder of Greely, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Granger Johnson and Landon Johnson; her niece Amanda Beard of Delray Beach, Florida; her nephew Billy Beard of Griffin, Georgia.; Ashlyn Davis.
