The memory of Curtis Michael Kuykendall of Longview, Texas, who passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Edward Kuykendall and Minnie Belle Townlin Kuykendall; his sisters, Carole Oehmoke and Beverly Jones; and his wife Jana Renee Cowger (Corvettes).
He is survived by: his daughter Kortnee Schubert (Kyle); his grandchildren, James, Emery and Elyse; his sister Elaine Jones; his sibling's children, Johnette Tyler (Kraig) and Chris Cooner (Trina); his great-nieces, Kassity Tyler and Dana Sellers; and his great-nephew Ethan Cooner. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the HighRidge Church (2011 W Marshall Ave, Longview, TX 75604).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Spring Hill Primary Library.
