He was predeceased by: his parents, U. G. Bethard and Jackie Haley; his son J. D. Bethard; and his nephew Jarrell Bethard. He is survived by: his wife Judi Bethard; his daughter Amanda'Mandy'Davis; his son-in-law Mike Davis; his grandchildren, Kyli Parz and Nate Davis; and his brothers, Wayne Bethard (Wanda) and Tony Bethard (Gail). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
