With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ray Vickery in Longview, Texas, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Meshell; and his parent-in-law Sudie Meshell of Diana, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Susan Vickery of Diana, Kella Vickery Stanley (Dale Stanley) of Overton and April Vickery (Shane Boroughs) of Diana; his grandchildren, Forrest Vickery (Allison), Hunter Patterson (Megan), Bailee Stanley Whitaker (Nick), Sheldon Reynolds, Kloe Meador, Mardi, MaKella and Moss Whitaker; and his sister-in-law Vonnita Meshell of Diana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1759 US-259, Diana, TX 75640). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
