Emogene Lyons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emogene Lyons of Longview, Texas, born in Saratoga, Arkansas, who passed away on February 22, 2026 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Emogene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Emogene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Lyons Jr.; her children, Leroy Lyons and Carolyn Bullock; her granddaughter Deanie Ridgeway; and her great grandchild Jace Adkinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Hoffpauir; and her son-in-law Gordon Hoffpauir. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church in Gladewater, Texas, to help send children to church camp.
