She was predeceased by: her parents, Chess Harris and Endie Harris; and her children, Michael Copeland and Ella Copeland. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Johnson, Sallie Carter, Bennie Copeland, Tammie Copeland and Jesse Copeland. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great- great- grandchildren, and a host of honorary children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
