She was predeceased by: her parents, Evie Gurnsey and Jessie Frank Stinnett; her sisters, Wanda Buford, Dorothy Keller and Virginia Ware; her husband Gerald; her children, Vicki Bentley, Gerald, Jr. and Gary; her grandson Jeremy; and her great grandchild Mariah.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matthew Tyler (Natalie), Jennifer Sampson, Schuyler Thornton and Dempsey Warren (Mike); her great grandchildren, Evan and Scarlett Sampson; her grandchildren, August, Emmett, Ethan Tyler, Gerald and Ramsey; her daughter-in-law Joanie Satterwhite Thornton; and her friend Mary Ellen Adams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
