It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Brewster of Longview, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gussie Brewster and Maggie Beatrice Lawrence Brewster; his friend Hubert Browning; and his siblings, Freddie Hugh Vaughn, Lenvol Alan Brewster, Maurine Pelham, Elizabeth Ann Heard, Jeri Linda Tompkins and Pansy Betty Hollar.
He is survived by: his friends, Roy Brown, Alfred Posey and Dan Ross; his wife Jere Jane Moore Brewster; his daughters, Lisa Lynn Dykes (Tony McCullouegh) and Melinda Kay Tidwell (Tript); his sister Freddie Nell "Cookie" Steele (John); and his grandsons, Brandon Wayne Dykes, Matthew Reuben Dykes (Kaitlyn), Ethan William Tidwell and Carson Cole Tidwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
