We announce the death of Janice Svrcek Vrana of Longview, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 93. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her son Stanley Vrana; her grandson Joshua David Vrana; her brother Miloslav Svrcek (Sonny); and her parents, Miloslav William Svrcek and Albina Dvoracek Svrcek.
She is survived by: her children, David Vrana (Robyn), Terry Rhodes (Robert), Harry "Bubba" Vrana Jr. (DaWanna), Lance Vrana and Lynne Pipak (Daniel); her daughter-in-law Amy Vrana; her siblings, Betty Wyatt, JoAnn Lammert (Donald) and Joe Svrcek (Georgia); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Vrana and Jeanette Vrana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
