He is survived by: his wife Virginia Daniels; his children, Michael Watson, Odette Griffis (Thomas), Daryl Daniels (Patrice), Darnell Daniels, Patrick Antonio Daniels (Diedra) and John L. Daniels, III; and his siblings, Ronald Daniels (Maschell), Donald Daniels (Yemaya), Marcia Marcellus, Susie Hester and Edith Patillo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Funeral Home (1601 Redmon Rd, Longview, TX 75602). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Post Oak Cme Church (2675 FM 2906, Longview, TX 75603). A burial was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Post Oak Union Cemetery (Old Easton Rd, Texas 75603).
