He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Smith of Longview and Kathy Hobgood of Gilmer, Texas; his granddaughters, Brandi Smith and Amanda Stepp of Gilmer, Texas; his daughter Jennifer Bounds (Neil) of Mumford, Tennessee; and his brothers, Larry Smith of Califonia and Edward Shelton Smith (Vicki) of South Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
