He was predeceased by: his siblings, Irma (Phillip Richmond), Lavonia (David Deer), Katherine (Donald Richmond), Janice (William Smith), Greg Alexander, Nancy Alexander, Barbara Mothershed and John Alexander; his children-in-law, Berta Alexander and Rick Brambila; his granddaughter Samantha Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Adilyn Faith Kupniewski, Skyler Brooke Alexander and Kayleigh Colleen Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his brother Alonzo; his sister-in-law Sally Alexander of Tennessee; and his children, Deborah Metcalf (Roy) of Longview, TX, Lisa Brambila of Lake Hills, TX, Lawrence Franklin Alexander, Jr. of Longview, TX, Lila Coats (Bob) of Malvern, AR, Mark Alexander of Winona, TX, Ronnie Alexander of Longview, TX and Rhonda Whitson (George) of Beebe, AR. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Longview Missionary Baptist Church (800 E Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605).
