He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Bowens of Forest Hill, Tammie Odum (Willis) of Longview, Tanya Bowens of Longview, Texas and Kenneth Bowens (Denise) of Hallsville, Texas.; his grandchildren, Corey Bowens of Longview, Adrian Ward (Amanda) of Longview, Jakaevon Odum of Longview, ShaQuala Jackson (Quintele) of Fort Worth and Ashley Gaines (Marquell) of Midlothian, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Michael Ward, Semaj Ward, Jaquaylon Odum, JuQualun Jackson, JuMyaui Jackson, Lennox Gaines and Aaliyah Bowens; and his siblings, Betty Bowens of San Antonio, Bobbie Bowens Reliford of Longview, Gertie Mae Brookins (Lyndon Joe) of Longview, Lacie Boyd of Longview, Texas and Billy Norris Bowens of Dallas, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
