It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Bryant (Longview, Texas), who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Bryant; and his sisters, Tommie Lee Bryant and Pearlie Luster. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Bryant of Longview, TX, Vickie Thompson of Longview, TX, Rhonda Craig (Billy) of Longview, TX and David Bryant (Debra) of Grand Prairie, TX; his siblings, Elijah Bryant Jr. (Pearl), Robert Bryant of Longview, TX, Ora Carter (Jimmy) of San Diego, CA, Dora Allison of Longview, TX, Shirley Geter (Lawrence) of Kilgore, TX and Ruby Rice (R. O.) of Dallas, TX; and his grandchildren, DeVarious Craig, Desmond Thompson, Kenzy Craig of Longview, TX, David Bryant Jr., Darius Bryant and DeVont'e Bryant of Grand Prairie, TX. He is also survived by seven great‐grandchildren along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
