He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Somerville. He is survived by: his son Neil Mac Somerville Jr. (Shirley Somerville); his grandsons, William, Alex and Chris Somerville; his sister Mary Elliott (Burl Elliott); his niece Brandy Elliott; and his brothers-in-law, John Birdwell and John Sledge. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson (800 Kilgore Dr, Henderson, TX 75652). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rusk County Memorial Gardens (5013 US-259, Henderson, TX 75652).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Neil's memory to his favorite charity, Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo.
