She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Everett and Novie Everett; her husband Joe M. Garrett; her children, Brenda and Howard; and her brother Howard "Sonny" Everett.
She is survived by: her sister Nancy Abernathy (Johnny); her daughter Cindy Garrett; her grandchildren, Rodney Archambeau, Danielle Rinehart and Kelly Aamold; her great grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Ryan (Alyssa), Christopher (Abby), Megan, Autumn and Ethen; and her great great grandchildren, Iris, Daisy and Eloise.
