He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Jo and E. B. Skipper. He is survived by: his wife Sherri; his daughters, Shannon and Angela; his stepson Craig; his brother Steve; and his grandchildren, David, Christian, Katina, Connor, Caleb, Joel, Rachel, Mick, Ella, Jake and Drew.
Instead of flowers, the family is asking for donations to his favorite charities, the Highway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the American Diabetes Association in his honor.
