He was predeceased by: his parents, Delma M. O'Dell (John Robert Elkins) and Denison; his wife Marye Kathryn Elkins; his daughter-in-law Shirley J. Elkins; his granddaughter Shelly M. Reese; and his great grandchildren, Avionna E. Sullenger and Stash R. Sullenger.
He is survived by: his children, Robert G. Elkins, Glenda K. Reese, Laura (Charlie Stracener) and John H. (Charlotte Elkins); his grandchildren, Dustin L. Courtney, Kelly L. Sullenger, Tracy R. White, Kaley R. Sullenger, Tiffany Elkins, Matthew Elkins, Marsha Pence, Katrina White, Pamela Hess, Johnathon Elkins, Ashley Elkins and Sammy Catron; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Sullenger, Katy Sullenger, Austin White, Brandon Black Jr., Ava Black, Laney Elkins, Logan Evans, Caleb Brannon Elkins and Nobellee Humphrey.
