It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Jimerson Sr. of Longview, Texas, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alvin Jimerson Sr. and Lottie Jimerson (Freeman); his wife Lois Jimerson; his daughter Sonya Jimerson Sierra; and his siblings, Philip Wayne Jimerson, William Ray Jimerson, Billy Gerald Jimerson and Geraldine Jimerson Blalock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Vercher (Bobby) of Longview and Sherry Price (Jeff) of Henderson; his son-in-law Ralph Joseph Sierra of Longview; his son Robert Jimerson Jr. (Debbie) of Hallsville; his sibling Robbie Watson of Henderson; and his sister-in-law Janice Jimerson of Henderson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Salem Cemetery.
