She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen A. Wright and Ruth Jones Wright; and her brother Michael P. Wright. She is survived by: her husband John V. Gibson; her stepchildren, Susan Edwards, Deanna Irvin and John Gibson III (Robin Gibson); her grandchildren, Ryan Irvin, Matthew Gibson and Malory Gibson; her brother James Reese Wright; her sister-in-law Wynona Moore Wright; her niece Tanya Wright Kronschnabl (Jeff); her nephew James R. Wright, Jr.; and her extended family, Sarah Kronschnabl, Matthew Kronschnabl, Judy Bethard, Margaret Hilton and Karen Johnson. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rosewood Park Cemetery (1884 Farm to Market Rd 1844, Longview, TX 75605).
