He is survived by: his sons, Blake Ellis Richey and Wesley Eugene Richey Jr. (Melissa); his grandchildren, Makayla, Payton and Scarlett; his sisters, Teresa Louise Vader (Kendall), Laurie Ann Ramsey (Donald) and Katherine Beatrice Bowman; and his cousin Kenneth Monk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trails End Cowboy Church (1361 FM 450 S, Hallsville, TX 75650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
