David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Clyde and Johnnie Bell Edgar Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Penny Sanders of Lorenzo; his children, Dustin Simmons (Callie) of Crosbyton and Jennifer Simmons Marshal of Longview; and his sister Judy Mann (Tony) of Ropes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lorenzo Chamber of Commerce.
