He is survived by: his children, Celeste Rivera of Lubbock, Bridgett Burger-Sepulveda of Southlake Texas, Krystal Regalado of Las Vegas, Laura Ruiz of Slaton, Renee Cruz of Las Vegas, Nevad, Paul Rivera of Lubbock and Mario Torres of Lubbock; and his siblings, Elvira Moroles of Edinburg, Elena Nevarez of Oklahoma, Alice Salinas of Lorenzo, Delia Rivera of Woodrow, Jim Rivera Jr. of Price Thomas Ranch, David Rivera of Post, Fermin Rivera of Post and George Rivera of Post. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (415 Harrison Ave, Lorenzo, TX 79343). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (211 Tyler Ave, Lorenzo, TX 79343).
