With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Wayne Pemberton of Louise, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Pemberton and Louise McNabb. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Sless Pemberton of Louise; his children, Craig Pemberton (Jennifer) of Richmond and Melissa Jozwiak (Steven) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Devyn Waggoner (Trey) of Richmond, Cameron Jozwiak (Erin O'Brien) of Hutto, Savannah Jozwiak of Richmond and Alexis Pemberton of Richmond; his great grandchildren, Benten, Myles Waggoner and Hadley Brooke; and his brothers, Lester Ellison (Syluvia) of Lolita and Billy Henke (Denise) of Hallettsville. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial donations in memory of Carl may be made to the Louise Alter Society or the Louise Volunteer Fire Department.
