He is survived by: his children, Andrea Kathleen of The Woodlands, TX and John Michael (Alissa) of Louise, TX; his wife Kathleen Appling of Louise, TX; his daughter Elizabeth Williams (Jason) of Louise, TX; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Pettus Ellis McIrvin of Washingtonville, NY; his grandchildren, Brandon, Alek, Sara Kate Rogers of The Woodlands, TX, Ethan Ellis (Lorena) of Edinburg, TX, Emily Ellis of Warrenton, VA, Alina, John Riley Ellis of Louise, TX, Isabella and Jared Williams of Louise, TX; his great grandchildren, Addison and Lucia; and his siblings, Linda Jennett (Charlie) of Wimberley, TX and Robert Ellis (Becky) of Reno, NV. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
