It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Horkey (Lubbock, Texas), born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Archibald McCormick Rippel and Charlotte Lawrence Rippel. She is survived by : her husband Joe Rice Horkey; her children, Kathryn Horkey-Wolff, Susan Horkey, Rip Horkey (Nancy) and Rice Horkey (Kathy); her grandchildren, Travis Wolff, Ashley Collins (Logan), Trey Horkey (Chelsey), Kelsey Horkey and Kenneth Horkey; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Corbin, Owen Collins, London, Jude, Rhodes Horkey and Kassidy Horkey.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Paul's on the Plains Episcopal Church (4215 University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79413).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lubbock, Meals on Wheels or a charity of your choice.
