She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Elvira Segura, Margaret Sanchez, Tia Chavela Alvarez and Tio Juan Segura; and her niece Margaret Brito.

She is survived by: her parents, Benny Brito and Adela Brito; her siblings, Steve Brito (Allison), Jerry Brito (Maria), Christina Brito-Tigerina (Art) and Michelle (Victor); and her pets, Taffy, Little Girl and Bruno. She is also survived by her family, nieces and nephews, friends.

Memorials are suggested in her name to Food for the Poor and ASPCA.
