He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Joel Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Munoz; his children, Alejandro "Tony" Munoz (Carolyn Perez), Melissa Munoz Rodriguez, Andrea Martinez and Lena Lovato (Richard); and his brother Utimio Munoz Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors (1901 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Broadway Funeral Directors (1901 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3107 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415).
