We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 91, Coqueaze Redding of Lubbock, Texas, born in Girard, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie Thomason and Gus Thomason; her husband Roy Welton Redding; her sons, Dub Redding and Bently Redding; and her brother-in-law Ralph Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughter Veneace Steele (M. L.) of Lubbock, TX; her siblings, Eloise Gunset (Jerry), Martha Edwards of Lubbock, TX and Dean Thomason (Terri); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Paul (Courtney), Laquita, Virginia, Austin and Dylan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
