Darthie Gale Stocks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 80, Darthie Gale Stocks (Lubbock, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Darthie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Darthie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. D. Stocks and Kibbie Stocks. She is survived by: her sister Judy Stocks (Rance) of Lubbock; and her children, Jim Swan (Terri) of Lubbock and Bailey.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (6109 Chicago Ave, Lubbock, TX 79424).
Donations can be made to the Katy Shannon Swan Memorial Scholarship Fund at Texas Tech University or to Second Baptist Church.
