He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Smith and Roy Ellington. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ellington; and his daughters, Carla Erculiani (Darin Erculiani) and Cori Ellington (Kevin Touchette).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sanders Memorial Chapel (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Texas State Veterans Cemetery-Lubbock (4614 E 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79403).
