He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruiz Mewborn; and his parents, Elvis Mewborn (Martha Mewborn) and Mark Mewborn. He is survived by: his sons, Shane, Raymond and Matthew; his grandchildren, James, Logan, Danny, Zach, Cael, Abigail, Evan and Kynlee; and his great grandchildren, Saige, Indigo, Jasper and Brylinn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sanders Memorial Chapel (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
