He is survived by: his children, Cathlynn Campbell Ernst Brothers of Eula, Debra Campbell Ernst Wallace (Scotty) of Lorenzo, Texas and Derek Campbell Ernst (Paula) of Merkel, Texas; his grandchildren, Michelle Brothers of Saginaw, Laura Brothers Green (Alex) of Aledo, Matthew Brothers of Eula and Ian Brothers of Eula; his great grandchildren, Ripley Alexander Marsh and Steven Michael Ernst; his brother Leslie Ernst (Nobuko) of Okinawa, Japan; Lucy Saphira Campbell Brothers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the House of Angels Funeral Home (1928 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the West Texas State Veterans Cemetery (4614 E 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79403).
