With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna Mae Townsend (Lubbock, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donna left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gaylord Ellerman; her parents, Barney Townsend and Mildred Townsend Sr.; and her siblings, Barney "Sonny" Townsend Jr., Daniel Townsend, Rajene Baker and Wanda Gassaway.
She is survived by: her son Michael Kelley (Beckie); her grandchildren, Claire Kelley, Ashley Smith (Robert) and Zane Slocum; and her great grandchild Ellie Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Joyful Noise Christian Fellowship (5218 18th St, Lubbock, TX 79416).
In honor of her generous spirit and commitment to serving others, Donna requested that donations be made to Meals on Wheels in lieu of flowers.
