He is survived by: his wife Gloria Camacho; his children, Enrique Lee Gutierrez, Jr., Virginia Arbizu (Gabriel), Brittany Alejandro (Jason) and Cassandra Guzman (Eric Sr.); his grandchildren, Aryana, Eric Jr. Guzman, Jasmine, Jason, Joyce, Jonah, Jordyn Alejandro, Gabriel and Jacob Arbizu; and his siblings, Nan Smith, Juan Gutierrez, Ysidro Gutierrez and Sipriano Gutierrez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Grace Catholic Church (3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415).
