She was predeceased by: her parents, Letha Tidwell Brooks and Earl W. Brooks; and her sisters, Mildred Roach and Betty Powell. She is survived by: her son Shane Croy; her close friend Phil Sanders; and her brothers, Leon Brooks and Ray Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
