He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe G. Garza and Margarita Rivera Garza; his brothers, Joe Velez and Ray Velez; and his grandchild Jonah Lucio.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Garza; his children, Brooke Vasquez (Matt), Brittany Garza, Brandon Garza (Gina), Tessa Lucio (Johnny), Jo'Ana Davis (Roy), Monica Gamez (Kevin) and Seth Villarreal (Dariann); his grandchildren, Mallory, Kelvin, Brianna, Nate, Madison, Tyler, Gabby, Joe, Mary, Joseph, Isabella, Jace, Javen and Scarlett; and his siblings, Bob Garza (Judy), Daniel Garza (Debbie) and Eva Garza. He is also survived by several loving aunts; and numerous very special nieces and nephews.
