Geneva leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Geneva’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Geneva will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Karisma Isabel Nevarez; her mother Maria E Cabezuela; her brother Steven Gutierrez; and her nephew Esteban Sigala. She is survived by: her husband Encarnacion Nevarez; and her daughters, Deyanira Sigala, Daleyza and Dalary Nevarez. She is also survived by her six brothers & sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Portales Church of the Nazarene (1427 E Amazon St, Portales, NM 88130). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the Portales Cemetery (1600 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
