He is survived by: his children, Kerry Dane Cooper and Kimberly Allyn Hix; his grandchildren, Kandace Nicole Cooper, Kameron Ryan Hix and Kelsey Ann Kreger; and his great grandchildren, Kason Ryan Kreger, Tori Ann Kreger, Harper Alejandro, Cooper Alejandro and Hudson Ryan Hix.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery (5740 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park (5740 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407).
