He was predeceased by : his parents, L. H. Maloy and Minnie Maloy. He is survived by : his wife Kim; his stepchildren, Kalie and Kelby; his children, David Maloy (Christy) and Tiffin (Lucas Hanna); and his grandchildren, Colton, Bailey, Tessa, Molly, Harper, Thomas, Emma and Jonah.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church (2316 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
