He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Matthiesen; his daughter Debra; his wife Mary Surratt; his children, Debb Hicks of Cedar Park, Texas, Jeff Hicks (Christine) of Franklin Lakes and Mark Hicks (Rebecca) of Austin, Texas; his stepson Dr. Randy Watkins (Kelli) of Keller, Texas; and his siblings, Tommy Hicks (Karen) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Rosemary Smith of Lazbuddie and Coralynn Jarman of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandsons; three granddaughters; and three great-grandsons.
