With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John P. Thomas MD (Lubbock, Texas), who passed away on August 31, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Keri; his son Andrew; his parents, Rev. P. S. Thomas and Mary Thomas; and his son John.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Church (7002 Canton Ave, Lubbock, TX 79413).
