He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bell and Mattie Roberts; his wife Jo Ann Bell; and his sister Lessie Pearl Ashley. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Bell, Shermaun Bell and Gwenevere Taylor.
A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Texas State Veterans Cemetery (4614 E 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79404). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home - Lubbock (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401).
