With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Vela (Lubbock, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Michael Vela (Miguel). He is survived by: his wife Amanda Sanchez Vela; his children, Jesiah, Christian, Abraham and Mia Luna Vela; his siblings, Tanya Vela, Annaliza Davila, Jessica Buenrostro and Victor Vela; his parents, Glenda Gayle Sission and Richard Vela; and his sister Jeanessa Vela. He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews.
