She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Tapley and Mozelle Tapley. She is survived by: her husband Jack Tyson; her daughter DeeDee Halpain (Steve); her stepdaughter Christy Richter Leah (Steve); her grandsons, Carter, Colby Halpain, Jacob and Justin Martin; her brother Tim Tapley (Susan) of Richmond; and her nephew Todd Tapley (Jennifer) of Ponchatoula.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
