He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCartney; his son Timothy McCartney; his brother Roy McCartney; his mother-in-law Alice Bell; his siblings-in-law, Steve Bell and Betty Bell; and his niece Zoe Bell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the 82nd and Avenue V Church of Christ (8207 Avenue V, Lubbock, TX 79423).
