Laynard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Laynard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Laynard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Shearer and Velma Douk Shearer (Douk); his former wife Kay Shearer (Diehl); and his brother Keiford (Lucille Shearer). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; and his siblings, Gary Shearer (Rovella) and Bernita Daniels (Willis) of Norton. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and many friends.
